Katharina joined Kingston Smith Consulting as Business Development Manager in November 2011 having completed a temporary contract at Aviva plc earlier in the year. For over ten years, she ran her own property development and marketing company during which she enjoyed the combination of entrepreneurial and project management work.
She started her career with JP Morgan in bond sales and attended their prestigious and rigorous five months of financial training on Wall Street. This has enabled her to have a good insight into the financial markets sector and, last but not least, has provided a natural peer group in finance all over the world with whom she continues to make contact and share her love of foreign languages and travel (she speaks at least five!).
A keen sports participant, she loves speeding down mountains on skis, whacking a tennis ball and manages the occasional water-start or jibe on a windsurfer – she even knows how to hold a golf club!
