George joined KSC in October 2009. He is a senior manager in our Risk Management, Compliance and Controls Assurance engagements.
He is a highly skilled and experienced consultant with over 13 years experience in audit and risk management across multiple locations in Europe and Africa, including the Channel Islands.
George has developed team management and leadership skills during long-term secondments with internal audit functions. He has a record of consistent delivery on projects to improve operating controls; complete SAS 70 reports; achieve Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; and carry out sensitive investigations into fraud and regulatory compliance issues. He has worked across multiple projects to develop or improve risk management frameworks, from developing methodology to supporting business implementation and developing effective reporting protocols and content.
Prior to joining KSC, George worked for the consulting firm Jefferson Wells in London, preceded by work for PwC LLP (London Banking and Capital Markets) and KPMG (Channel Islands) in their external assurance practices. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in 2000, and is also a CFA Charterholder.
Outside of work, George is a keen football fan.
