KINGSTON SMITH CONSULTING LLP ACCREDITED TO THE BSI’S ASSOCIATE CONSULTANT PROGRAMME
The British Standards Institute is a world-leading business services organisation. Originating as the world’s first national standards body, the BSI Group has grown to supply services to over 100 countries worldwide. As a certification body, the BSI is entirely independent and as such, is unable to provide any form of consultancy service. In order to be able to direct clients to consultants that the BSI has thoroughly assessed, the Associate Consultant Programme (ACP) was established. The ACP is a list of consultancies that have demonstrated to BSI their experience and competence with respect to certified management systems.
Kingston Smith Consulting is now fully accredited by the BSI as a member of their ACP for ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management), BS25999 (Business Continuity Management) and ISO/IEC 20000 (IT Service Management). Our ACP designation follows a comprehensive review of our portfolio of work on these standards, and our supporting processes and procedures.
Mark Child (Partner for Technology Risk Management) said, “We are very proud that the BSI has recognised our expertise in the areas of business continuity, information security and IT service management. Now that we are members of their Associate Consultant Programme, we are very much looking forward to assisting our clients to successfully achieve compliance and certification against these standards as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.”
